NYCDOB  Expeditor/ Filing Representative Project Manager - New York, NY - Consulting Services Division Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of Municipal filings (DOB, DOT, LPC, and DEP) and hold valid NYC Class 2 Filing Representative license. Roles and Responsibilities:

• •Review architectural and engineering drawings to determine scope of work
• •Perform Code Review
• •Client Maintenance and Management
• •Coordinate with managers to maintain updated project status of permits.
• •Coordinate with internal inspection department and Third Party Special Inspection Agencies
• •Prepare status reports

Essential Skills:

• •Knowledge of New York City Building Code and Fire Code
• •Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel and Word
• •Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• •Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
• •BS in Architecture or Engineering (Preferred)
• •Experience with High-Level contact at NYC Agencies

SPECIAL INSPECTOR- New York, NY - Inspection Services Division Roles and Responsibilities:

• •Performing field surveys of planned construction sites to develop drawings for submission to CAD Department
• •Inspecting construction sites during work and upon completion to determine completeness of construction in accordance with NYC Building Code Requirements
• •Performing special and progress inspections of fireproofing, firestopping, fire rated construction, mechanical systems, sprinkler and standpipe systems and other systems.
• •Preparation of reports after completion of inspections

Essential Skills:

• •Minimum of 3 Years’ Experience
• •Must be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple projects
• •Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
• •Experience in AutoCAD
• •BS Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
• •PE Registration (Preferred)
